Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8060

Sayyiduna Abu Salit (may Allah be pleased with him), who was a Companion who fought at Badr, narrates: The prohibition of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the meat of donkeys reached us while we were at Khaybar, so we overturned the pots, even though we were hungry.
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Abdullah bin Amr bin Dumayrah, whom Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned without either criticising him or declaring him trustworthy.
