وَعَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الْإِقْرَانِ فِي التَّمْرِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَوْسَعَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَقْرِنُوا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِمَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ بَزِيعٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I had forbidden you from eating dates combined (two at a time); now Allah Almighty has granted you ample provision, so you may eat two dates together."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and al-Bazzar recorded it. The chains of both contain Yazid bin Bazi', who is da'if (weak).
