بَابٌ ثَانٍ مِنْهُ فِي اتِّبَاعِ الْكِتَابِ وَالسُّنَّةِ وَمَعْرِفَةِ الْحَلَالِ مِنَ الْحَرَامِ .

وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " سَيَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ زَمَانٌ لَا يَكُونُ فِيهِ شَيْءٌ أَعَزَّ مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ : دِرْهَمٌ حَلَالٌ ، أَوْ أَخٌ يُسْتَأْنَسُ بِهِ ، أَوْ سُنَّةٌ يُعْمَلُ بِهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ رَوْحُ بْنُ صَلَاحٍ ، ضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، وَقَالَ الْحَاكِمُ : ثِقَةٌ مَأْمُونٌ . وَذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ فِي الثِّقَاتِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ مُوَثَّقُونَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ رَوْحُ بْنُ صَلَاحٍ ، ضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، وَقَالَ الْحَاكِمُ : ثِقَةٌ مَأْمُونٌ . وَذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ فِي الثِّقَاتِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ مُوَثَّقُونَ .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A time will soon come upon you in which nothing will be more precious than three things: a lawful dirham, a brother with whom one finds companionship, and a Sunnah that is acted upon."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Rawh bin Salah, whom Ibn Adi declared da'if (weak), while al-Hakim said: He is thiqah ma'mun (trustworthy and reliable). Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Kitab al-Thiqat. The rest of its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
