بَابٌ ثَانٍ مِنْهُ فِي اتِّبَاعِ الْكِتَابِ وَالسُّنَّةِ وَمَعْرِفَةِ الْحَلَالِ مِنَ الْحَرَامِ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْمُتَمَسِّكُ بِسُنَّتِي عِنْدَ فَسَادِ أُمَّتِي لَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْعَدَوِيُّ ، وَلَمْ أَرَ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْعَدَوِيُّ ، وَلَمْ أَرَ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever holds firmly to my Sunnah at the time of the corruption of my Ummah will have the reward of a martyr."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Salih al-Adawi, and I have not seen anyone who has written a biography of him. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
