Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) facing both qiblahs. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Honour bread, for Allah Almighty sent it down from the blessings of the heavens and subjected the blessings of the earth to it. Whoever picks up (and eats) the bread that has fallen from the dining cloth is forgiven."
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Abd al-Rahman al-Shami, and I do not know him; the correct name is Abd al-Malik bin Abd al-Rahman al-Shami, and he is da'if (weak).
