وَعَنِ اللَّجْلَاجِ قَالَ : مَا مَلَأْتُ بَطْنِي طَعَامًا مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - آكُلُ حَسْبِي وَأَشْرَبُ حَسْبِي . يَعْنِي : قُوتِي .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Al-Lajlaj narrates: Since I accepted Islam at the hands of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I have never eaten to fill my stomach. I eat only what I basically need and drink only what I basically need.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains al-Mu'alla bin al-Walid, and I do not know him. The remaining narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
