وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍ[ وَ ] قَالَ : تَجَشَّأَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " اقْصُرْ مِنْ جُشَائِكَ فَإِنَّ أَطْوَلَ النَّاسِ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَشْبَعُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ مَسْعُودِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man belched in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hold back your belching, for those who will remain hungry the longest on the Day of Resurrection are those who ate their fill the most in this world."
Al-Tabarani recorded it from his teacher Mas'ud bin Muhammad, and he is da'if (weak).
