وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَمَرَ بِلَعْقِ الصَّحْفَةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ الْمُسَيَّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : صَدُوقٌ يُخْطِئُ كَثِيرًا فَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ لَمْ يَقْبَلْ ، وَكَانَ النَّسَائِيُّ حَسَنَ الرَّأْيِ فِيهِ [ وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ] .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that the bowl be licked clean.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains al-Musayyab bin Wadih. Abu Hatim says: He is saduq (truthful) but makes many mistakes, and when he is told (of them), he does not accept correction. Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) held a good opinion of him. The remaining narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
