وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ سِنَانُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The child belongs to the owner of the bed, and for the fornicator there is deprivation."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Sinan bin al-Harith, whom I do not know. The rest of the narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
