وَعَنْ قَتَادَةَ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا ، وَابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ قَالُوا : إِذَا مَضَتِ الْأَشْهُرُ الْأَرْبَعَةُ فَهِيَ تَطْلِيقَةٌ ، وَهِيَ أَحَقُّ بِنَفْسِهَا . وَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ وَابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ : تَعْتَدُّ عِدَّةَ الْمُطَلَّقَةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَقَتَادَةُ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ عَلِيًّا ، وَلَا ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ، وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَقَتَادَةُ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ عَلِيًّا ، وَلَا ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ، وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Qatadah narrates: Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) say: When four months have passed, it will count as a divorce, and the woman will have more right over herself. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) say: She will observe the waiting period ('iddah) of a divorced woman.
Tabarani recorded it. Qatadah did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) or Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), nor did he hear from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both). The rest of the narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih.
