وَعَنِ الْجَارُودِيِّ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أُبَايِعُهُ ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : عَلَى أَنِّي إِنْ تَرَكْتُ دِينِي وَدَخَلْتُ فِي دِينِكَ لَا يُعَذِّبُنِي اللَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ . قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna al-Jarudi al-Abdi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to pledge allegiance to him, and I said to him (peace and blessings be upon him): "(I pledge) on the condition that, if I leave my religion and enter your religion, Allah Almighty will not punish me in the Hereafter." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes! (Allah Almighty will not punish you in the Hereafter.)"
