Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7764

Muhammad bin Sirin narrates: Sayyiduna Imam Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) asked Mansur bin Sayyar bin Rayyan al-Fazari for his daughter's hand in marriage. He said: "By Allah! I will give (my daughter) to you in marriage, although I know that you are keen on (marrying) women, (often) divorce (your wives), and after marrying, separate (from your wives); except that among the Arabs you belong to the most honourable household and are the most honourable in lineage."
Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
