Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not go to the women at night." (The narrator explains:) That is, when someone comes back from a journey, he should go to his wife only in the daytime. The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey, and two men went to their wives even after this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and each of them found a man with his wife.
Tabarani recorded it, and Bazzar recorded it in abridged form. Its chain contains a narrator, Zam'ah bin Salih, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared trustworthy.
