Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man brought his daughter to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: This daughter of mine has refused to marry. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the woman: Obey your father. The woman said: By the One who sent you with the truth, I will not marry until you tell me what the right of the husband over the wife is. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is the husband's right over the wife that if an ulcer were to break out on the man and the woman licked it, or if pus or blood came out of the man's nostrils and the woman sucked it, she would still not have fulfilled his right. The woman said: By the One who sent you with the truth, I will never marry. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not marry these women off except with their permission.
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Nahar al-Abdi, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
