Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7543

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A woman was in dispute with her husband. The two of them came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the woman said: "O Messenger of Allah! This is my husband. By the One who sent you with the truth, there is no one on earth more hateful to me than him." The husband said: "This is my wife. By the One who sent you with the truth, there is no one on earth more hateful to me than her." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave an instruction concerning the two of them, and they came close to him. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for them both, and before they rose and left the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the woman said: "By the One who sent you with the truth, Allah has not created anything more beloved to me than this man." And the husband said: "By the One who sent you with the truth, Allah has not created anything more beloved to me than this woman."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Miqdam bin Dawud, who is al-Tabarani's teacher, and he is da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
