Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7533

Sayyiduna Abu Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked secret marriage, (and he liked that at a wedding) the daff (frame drum) be beaten and this be sung: "We have come to you, we have come to you; so greet us and we greet you."
The son of Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Husayn bin Abdullah bin Dumayrah, who is matruk (abandoned).
