بَابٌ فِيمَنْ زَوَّجَ مَرْغُوبًا عَنْهُ .
One who marries a woman to an undesirable man

وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظًا ، وَهُوَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى إِنْفَاذِهِ خَيَّرَهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ . وَمَنْ أَنْكَحَ عَبْدًا وَضَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ تَاجَ الْمُلْكِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ بَقِيَّةُ ، وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever swallows his anger while he is able to act on it, Allah Almighty will give him his choice of the wide-eyed houris on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever arranges the marriage of a servant (or: of a slave), Allah Almighty will place the crown of kingship on his head on the Day of Resurrection."
At-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Baqiyyah, who is a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain).
