بَابٌ فِيمَنْ زَوَّجَ مَرْغُوبًا عَنْهُ .
One who marries a woman to an undesirable man

عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : كَانَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُقَالُ لَهُ : جُلَيْبِيبٌ فِي وَجْهِهِ دَمَامَةٌ فَعَرَضَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - التَّزْوِيجَ قَالَ : إِذَنْ تَجِدُنِي كَاسِدًا . فَقَالَ : " غَيْرُ أَنَّكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ لَسْتَ بِكَاسِدٍ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ ، وَلَهُ طُرُقٌ فِي الْمَنَاقِبِ رَوَاهَا أَحْمَدُ ، وَغَيْرُهُ .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Among the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was a man named Julaybib, whose face was unattractive. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered him marriage, and he said: Then you will find me of no value in this. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "But with Allah Almighty you are not of no value."
