بَابٌ فِيمَنْ أَعْتَقَ نَصِيبًا فِي عَبْدٍ .
One who frees his share in a slave

وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ هُذَيْلٍ أَعْتَقَ شَقِيصًا لَهُ فِي مَمْلُوكٍ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " هُوَ حُرٌّ وَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى شَرِيكٌ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثٍ قَبْلَهُ ، وَهَذَا لَفْظُهُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): A man from the tribe of Hudhayl freed his share (in a slave), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That slave will be counted as free, for Allah Almighty has no partner."
