بَابٌ فِيمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً .

وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً فَهِيَ فِكَاكُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا قَيْسًا الْجُذَامِيَّ ، وَلَمْ يُضَعِّفْهُ أَحَدٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا قَيْسًا الْجُذَامِيَّ ، وَلَمْ يُضَعِّفْهُ أَحَدٌ .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever frees a believing neck (that is, a male or female slave), it becomes his ransom from Hell."
Ahmad, Abu Ya'la and al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Qays al-Judhami, and no one has declared him weak.
