بَابٌ فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ .

عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ ، فَقَدْ خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الْإِيمَانِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا خَالِدَ بْنَ أَبِي حَيَّانَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever attributes himself to someone other than his masters has removed the collar of faith from his neck."
