وَعَنْ سَلْمَى ابْنَةِ حَمْزَةَ أَنَّ مَوْلَاهَا مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ فَوَرَّثَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - ابْنَتَهُ النِّصْفَ وَوَرَّثَ يَعْلَى النِّصْفَ ، وَكَانَ ابْنَ سَلْمَى .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ .

Sayyidah Salma bint Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: A freed slave of hers died and left behind a daughter. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave his daughter half of the wealth, and gave Ya'la half of the wealth; he was the son of Sayyidah Salma (may Allah be pleased with her).
