عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْوَلَاءَ لَيْسَ بِمُنْتَقِلِ ، وَلَا بِمُتَحَوِّلِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this as a "marfu'" hadith: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wala' (the tie of clientship) is not transferred and is not changed."
