بَابٌ فِي الْوَصِيِّ يَشْتَرِي لِنَفْسِهِ مِنْ مَالِ التَّرِكَةِ أَوْ يَسْتَقْرِضُ .

عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ قَالَ : جَاءَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَجُلٌ مِنْ هَمْدَانَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ أَبْلَقَ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ عَمِّي أَوْصَى إِلَيَّ بِتَرِكَتِهِ ، وَإِنَّ هَذَا مِنْ تَرِكَتِهِ أَفَأَشْتَرِيهِ ؟ قَالَ : لَا ، وَلَا تَسْتَقْرِضْ مِنْ مَالِهِ شَيْئًا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Silah bin Zufar narrates: A man came to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him); he was from Hamdan and was riding a piebald horse. He said: "My paternal uncle made a will to me regarding his estate (that I would look after it), and this horse is part of that estate. May I buy it?" Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "No! And do not take anything from that wealth even as a loan."
