وَعَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ أَحَدِ بَنِي أَشْجَعَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَنْ مَشَى مَعَ ظَالِمٍ لِيُعِينَهُ ، وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ ظَالِمٌ ، فَقَدْ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَيَّاشُ بْنُ مُؤْنِسٍ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ وُثِّقُوا ، وَفِي بَعْضِهِمْ كَلَامٌ .

Sayyiduna Aws bin Shurahbil (may Allah be pleased with him), who belonged to Banu Ashja', narrates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever walks along with a wrongdoer in order to help him, while knowing that he is a wrongdoer, has left Islam."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Ayyash bin Mu'nis, and I have not found anyone who has written his biography; the rest of its narrators have been declared trustworthy, though some of them have been criticised.
