عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ أَعَانَ ظَالِمًا بِبَاطِلٍ لِيَدْحَضَ بِهِ حَقًّا ، فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِنْ ذِمَّةِ اللَّهِ وَذِمَّةِ رَسُولِهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الثَّلَاثَةِ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الْكَبِيرِ : حَنَشٌ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، وَزَعَمَ أَبُو مِحْصَنٍ أَنَّهُ شَيْخُ صِدْقٍ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ رَحْمَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الثَّلَاثَةِ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الْكَبِيرِ : حَنَشٌ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، وَزَعَمَ أَبُو مِحْصَنٍ أَنَّهُ شَيْخُ صِدْقٍ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ رَحْمَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever helps a wrongdoer in a falsehood in order to thereby push aside a truth has become free of the protection of Allah and the protection of His Messenger."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in all three of his books; the chain in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir contains Hanash, who is matruk (abandoned), while Abu Mihsan claimed that he was a truthful shaykh; the chain in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat contains Sa'id bin Rahmah, who is da'if (weak).
