وَعَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ الْكِنْدِيِّ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُمْ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلَانِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَخْتَصِمَانِ فِي أَرْضٍ فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا : هِيَ أَرْضِي . وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ : هِيَ أَرْضِي حَرَثْتُهَا وَقَصَبْتُهَا . فَأَحْلَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْأَرْضُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحَدِهِمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Adi bin Adi al-Kindi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Two men came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a dispute between them over a piece of land. One of them said: It is my land. The other said: It is my land; I farm it, and I have cultivated it. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had the one in whose possession the land was take an oath.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and the narrators of one of the two are the narrators of the Sahih.
