وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : فِي كِيسِي هَذَا حَدِيثٌ لَوْ حَدَّثْتُكُمُوهُ لَرَجَمْتُمُونِي . ثُمَّ قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ لَا أَبْلُغَنَّ رَأْسَ السِّتِّينَ . قَالُوا : وَمَا رَأْسُ السِّتِّينَ ؟ قَالَ : إِمَارَةُ الصِّبْيَانِ ، وَبَيْعُ الْحُكْمِ ، وَكَثْرَةُ الشُّرَطِ ، وَالشَّهَادَةُ بِالْمَعْرِفَةِ ، وَيَتَّخِذُونَ الْأَمَانَةَ غَنِيمَةً وَالصَّدَقَةَ مَغْرَمًا ، وَنَشُوءٌ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْقُرْآنَ مَزَامِيرَ . قَالَ حَمَّادٌ : وَأَظُنُّهُ قَالَ : وَالتَّهَاوُنُ بِالدَّمِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّلَّالُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: There is a hadith in my mind; if I were to narrate it to you, you would stone me. Then he said: O Allah, let me not reach the year 60 AH. The people said: What is the matter with the year 60 AH? He said: The rule of children will come, judgments will be sold, the police will be many, testimony will be given on the basis of acquaintance, the trust will be taken as booty, charity will be regarded as a penalty, and people will appear who will take the Qur'an as musical pipes. Hammad says: I think he also said: and bloodshed will be taken lightly.
