بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَحْلِفُ يَمِينًا كَاذِبَةً يَقْتَطِعُ بِهَا مَالًا .

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْيَمِينُ الْفَاجِرَةُ تُذْهِبُ الْمَالَ أَوْ تَذْهَبُ بِالْمَالِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ إِلَّا أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ لَمْ يَصِحَّ سَمَاعُهُ مِنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ إِلَّا أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ لَمْ يَصِحَّ سَمَاعُهُ مِنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A false oath takes away wealth" (the narrator is unsure of one word here, but this is its meaning).
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except that Abu Salamah's hearing from his father (Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him)) is not authentically established; and Allah knows best.
