وَعَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ : كُنْتُ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ مَوْلَاتِي فِي ذَلِكَ فَطَيَّبَتْ لِي فَاحْتَطَبْتُ حَطَبًا فَبِعْتُهُ وَاشْتَرَيْتُ ذَلِكَ الطَّعَامَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو قُرَّةَ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ .

Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I asked my mistress for permission regarding this, and she gave me permission. I gathered firewood, and then with it I bought that food.
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Qurrah Salamah bin Mu'awiyah, and I have not found anyone who has written his biography.
