وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِسَقَبِهِ مَا كَانَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ التَّمَّارُ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A neighbour has more right to his proximity (that is, his neighbourhood), whatever it may be."
Imam Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ubayd bin Kathir al-Tammar, and he is matruk (abandoned).
