وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ عِيَاضَ بْنَ حِمَارٍ الْمُجَاشِعِيَّ ، ثُمَّ النَّهْشَلِيَّ أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَرَسًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ فَقَالَ : إِنِّي أَكْرَهُ زَبْدَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الصَّلْتُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الصَّلْتُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) states: Sayyiduna Iyad bin Himar al-Mujashi'i, then al-Nahshali (may Allah be pleased with him), presented a horse to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a gift; this was before he accepted Islam. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I dislike the gifts of the polytheists.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, al-Salt bin Abd al-Rahman al-Zubaydi, who is da'if (weak).
