بَابُ ثَوَابِ الْهَدِيَّةِ ، وَالثَّنَاءِ ، وَالْمُكَافَأَةِ .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " وَمَنْ أَهْدَى [ كُرَاعًا ] فَكَافِئُوهُ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ فِي أَثْنَاءِ حَدِيثٍ ، وَفِيهِ لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ مُدَلِّسٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ فِي أَثْنَاءِ حَدِيثٍ ، وَفِيهِ لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ مُدَلِّسٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever gives even a trotter as a gift, repay him." (Allamah Haythami says:) I say:
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it within a hadith; its chain contains a narrator, Layth bin Abi Sulaym, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but a mudallis, and the remaining narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih.
