بَابٌ فِيمَنْ أُهْدِيَتْ لَهُ هَدِيَّةٌ ، وَعِنْدَهُ قَوْمٌ .
One who is given a gift while others are with him

وَعَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَتَتْهُ هَدِيَّةٌ ، وَعِنْدَهُ قَوْمٌ جُلُوسٌ فَهُمْ شُرَكَاؤُهُ فِيهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْعَطَّارُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Imam Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever receives a gift while some people are sitting with him, those people too will be partners in that gift."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Sa'id al-Attar, who is da'if (weak).
