وَعَنْ أُمِّ حَكِيمٍ بِنْتِ وَدَّاعٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّةِ قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " تَهَادَوْا ، فَإِنَّ الْهَدِيَّةَ تُضَعِّفُ الْحُبَّ ، وَتَذْهَبُ بِغَوَائِلِ الصَّدْرِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ يُعْرَفْ .

Sayyidah Umm Hakim bint Wadda' al-Khuza'iyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Give one another gifts, for a gift increases love and removes the evil (and malice) of the breast."
