Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and demanded payment of what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had borrowed from him, half a wasq. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him one wasq and said: "Half a wasq is what was yours, and half a wasq you receive from me." Then the man who was owed one wasq came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and demanded payment, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him two wasq. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One wasq is what was yours, and one wasq is from me."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Salih al-Farra', whom I do not know, and the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
