Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Guarantee me six things, and I guarantee you Paradise." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! What are they?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not commit injustice when dividing inheritance; deal justly with people where your own selves are concerned; do not show cowardice when fighting the enemy; do not act dishonestly with the spoils of war; and restrain the oppressor from (oppressing) the oppressed." (The author says:) I say: The sixth thing has not been mentioned in it.
At-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Ala' bin Sulayman al-Raqqi, who is da'if (weak).
