بَابٌ فِيمَنْ نَوَى قَضْيَ دَيْنِهِ وَاهْتَمَّ بِهِ .
One who intends to repay his debt and strives to do so
Majma al-Zawaid 6658 — One who intends to repay his debt and strives
قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ كَانَتْ لَهُ نِيَّةٌ فِي أَدَاءِ دَيْنِهِ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَوْنٌ " . فَأَنَا أَلْتَمِسُ ذَلِكَ الْعَوْنَ .
It is narrated about Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she used to take loans. It was said to her: "Why do you take loans when you have no need of them?" She said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Any servant who has the intention to repay his debt receives help from Allah Almighty." (Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:) So I seek that help.
