بَابٌ فِيمَنْ نَوَى قَضْيَ دَيْنِهِ وَاهْتَمَّ بِهِ .
One who intends to repay his debt and strives to do so

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ حَمَلَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي دَيْنًا ، ثُمَّ جَهَدَ فِي قَضَائِهِ ، ثُمَّ مَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقْضِيَهُ فَأَنَا وَلِيُّهُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any member of my Ummah who takes on a debt, then strives to repay it, then dies before repaying it, I will be his guardian."
Imam Ahmad, Imam Abu Ya'la and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it, and the narrators of Imam Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih.
