Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever takes a loan intending to repay it, Allah Almighty will have the right binding upon him paid on his behalf on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever takes a loan without even intending to repay it, and then dies in that state, Allah Almighty will say on the Day of Resurrection: 'Did you think that I would not get My servant his right?' Then that person's good deeds will be taken and added to the other person's good deeds; and if he has no good deeds, the other person's sins will be taken and added to his sins."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ja'far bin al-Zubayr, who is a kadhdhab (liar).
