Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6588

Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware of the sins that are not forgiven: misappropriating the spoils of war, for whoever misappropriates anything will bring it on the Day of Resurrection; and consuming usury (riba), for whoever consumes usury will come on the Day of Resurrection insane and deranged." Then he recited this verse: "Those who consume usury will not stand except as one stands whom Satan has driven to madness by his touch."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, al-Husayn bin Abd al-Awwal, and he is da'if (weak).
