وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، سَعِّرْ لَنَا . فَقَالَ : " بَلْ أَدْعُو اللَّهَ " . ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سَعِّرْ لَنَا . فَقَالَ : " بَلِ اللَّهُ يَرْفَعُ وَيَخْفِضُ ، وَإِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَلْقَى اللَّهَ وَلَيْسَتْ لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدِي مُظْلَمَةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! Fix prices for us." He said: "No! Rather, I will pray to Allah Almighty." Then that man came to him again and submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! Fix prices for us." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(No!) Rather, Allah Almighty raises and lowers (prices), and I hope that when I come before Allah Almighty, I will not have wronged anyone."
