Majma al-Zawaid 6442 — The earnings of the cupper and others
وَعَنْ ثَوْبَانَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - احْتَجَمَ وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ وَقَالَ : " أَعْلِفْهُ نَاضِحَكَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ : أَرْجُو أَنَّهُ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ : أَرْجُو أَنَّهُ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ .
Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had himself cupped and gave the cupper his fee, and he said: "Use it to feed your (water-carrying) camel."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Yazid bin Rabi'ah, who is matruk (abandoned), while Ibn Adi said: I hope there is no harm in him.
