وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : دَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَبَا طِيبَةَ فَحَجَمَهُ ، قَالَ : فَسَأَلَهُ : " كَمْ ضَرِيبَتُكَ ؟ " . قَالَ : ثَلَاثَةٌ آصُعٍ . فَوَضَعَ عَنْهُ صَاعًا .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، وَقِيلَ : إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْهُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، وَقِيلَ : إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْهُ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called Abu Taybah, and he cupped him. He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him: "How much is your levy (owed to your masters)?" He replied: "Three sa'." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remitted one sa' (from him).
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), except that this narration is from Ja'far bin Abi Wahshiyyah from Sulayman bin Qays, and according to one view Ja'far did not hear from him.
