Majma al-Zawaid 6369 — The prohibition of meeting traders

Hakim bin Abi Yazid reports this statement of his father: My father narrated this hadith to me that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave people as they are! They will obtain (provision) from one another. When one of you seeks sincere advice from his brother, he should give him sincere advice."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ata' bin al-Sa'ib, who had become confused (ikhtilat) in his memory.
