وَقَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ : عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِذَا بَاعَ أَحَدُكُمْ سِلْعَةً فَلَا يَكْتُمُ عَيْبًا إِنْ كَانَ بِهَا " .
وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِمَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ ، وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِمَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ ، وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Al-Tabarani recorded in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you sells some merchandise, let him not conceal a defect if there is one in it." The chains of both narrations contain a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah; he has been criticised, and his hadith is hasan (fair). The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
