Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by some grain which its owner had arranged attractively. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) put his blessed hand into it, and there was some bad grain in it as well. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sell this separately and sell this separately, for whoever cheats us (or deceives us) is not one of us."
Ahmad, al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani (in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat) recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Ma'shar, and he is saduq (truthful), though a group (of scholars) declared him da'if (weak).
