وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَفْضَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَجُلٌ سَمْحُ الْبَيْعِ سَمْحُ الشِّرَاءِ سَمْحُ الْقَضَاءِ سَمْحُ الِاقْتِضَاءِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The most excellent of the believers is the man who is lenient when selling, lenient when buying, lenient when repaying and lenient when demanding repayment."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
