عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " اسْمَحْ يُسْمَحْ لَكَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ ، وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ ، وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Be lenient, and leniency will be shown to you."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains Mahdi bin Ja'far, whom Yahya bin Ma'in and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), though there is some weakness in him. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
