Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbid riding (or sitting) on the skins of predatory animals, and erecting lofty buildings. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) recorded only the part about the prohibition of the skins of predatory animals.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Yazid bin Sufyan Abu al-Muhazzim. Ahmad said: How muqarib (close to acceptable) his hadith is! Al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: He is matruk (abandoned). People declared him da'if (weak).
